Integration of alien systems and products from other manufacturers at automation level, based on field-bus protocols with EIA-232 or EIA-485, such as Modbus/RTU, M-Bus and other integration of alien products with the modu525 automation station for integrated control and optimised regulation and the possibility of BACnet/IP communication to the management level.

- Power supply from modu525 automation station
- One or two COM modules per modu525 automation station
- Up to 512 data points for the alien system
- 0.3 to 57.6 kBit/s
- Two-wire EIA-485 (half-duplex)
- Galvanic isolation up to 300 V
- Six screw terminals (2 x Common, 2 x D+, 2 x D-)
- Jumper for EIA-485 bus power, bus terminating resistor and connection for galvanic isolation
- D-Sub plug (9-pin, male, DTE) for EIA-232
- Supported protocols: Modbus/RTU (Master) - F010; M-Bus (Master) - F020; others on request
