Measurement errors due to dust and dirt in the room air or ageing of the measuring system are virtually eliminated by the dual-beam method implemented in the SAUTER EGQ222 CO₂ and temperature sensor. With the single-beam system, costly ventilation of the rooms is required for four to eight hours every fortnight, merely to compensate for the sensor drift. There is no need for this with the SAUTER CO₂ sensor, which ensures automatic calibration of the measurement signal at no extra cost, no matter when or how often the room is ventilated. As well as providing an atmosphere in which the room users feel comfortable, this also achieves energy savings of up to 60 percent. Faster and more precise measurements mean that control is more accurate, leading to increased energy efficiency.
