BACnet (Building Automation and Control Networks) is a communication protocol for data networks in building automation and building control systems.
In October 2003, BACnet was made the worldwide ISO standard 16484-5 for open communication in building automation.
Sauter identified this trend early on and began carrying out BACnet projects as long ago as 1997. So far, Sauter has proved its competence by realising over 200,000 BACnet data points in national and international projects.
Sauter provides BACnet solutions on both the management and automation levels.
