SAUTER U.K. - Energy-efficient, Energy-efficient environments

The flows of energy inside the new multifunctional industrial building at SAUTER HeadOffice in Basle are controlled using SAUTER's own products and systems. The building accommodates the production, logistics and administration departments, each of which has its own particular requirements with regard to indoor conditions. These different demands have been fulfilled with the SAUTER EY-modulo 5 building automation system and the novaPro Open management software.

The SAUTER solution involves the environment-friendly provision of heating and cooling by using the groundwater and a heat pump. In addition, the central ventilation system regulates heat recovery. On the automation level, SAUTER EY-modulo 5 with BACnet/IP is used, while novaPro Open on the management level provides visualisation, operation and notification. Individual-room control is achieved using the ecos502 intelligent unitary controller on BACnet/IP.

The whole system can also be checked from outside and viewed for operating purposes via the internet.
A copy of the active system has been set up for demonstration purposes.

Several generations of SAUTER building automation systems (EY-modulo 5, EY3600 and EY2400) now provide ideal indoor conditions in the various buildings on the whole SAUTER site in Basle. All the systems are united in the novaPro Open management software and can be operated using a standardised surface.
