Building Solutions

The System Division of SAL is organised to provide turn-key solutions for the efficient implementation of BMS projects throughout the UK.

Whilst the reliability, quality and longevity of the Sauter product range (hardware and software) are important factors in satisfying the customer’s demands, as a professional BMS contractor the company focuses very strongly on the efficiency and competence of its Systems Contracting Division. The Company has established an organisational structure that is targeted with the overriding objective of providing efficient project implementation.

Sauter is also pioneering to enable clients to integrate third party systems more easily. For example; interfaces to chillers, fire protection systems, lighting control packages, smoke damper control systems, hotel management systems, and many more specialist systems are now commonly integrated within the BMS architecture, reporting to the BMS supervisory level whilst also, and most importantly, maintaining their own independent operating integrity.

Sauter has also developed a range of (A-stations) that communicate utilising the BACnet open system protocol running on Ethernet. BACnet has been adopted as the international standard open protocol solution both in the European Union and the USA. This range of A-stations combined with either web-browsing management software or , using create one of the most powerful open systems available today; Sauter .

Importantly, Sauter continue to support running on and running on , both proprietary systems, but extremely powerful in terms of functionality and very economical to install and maintain. It is possible to upgrade these systems to the latest web-browsing technology, novaPro OpenSauter customers are assured of a minimum 10 year availability of spare parts, starting from discontinuation of product and system continuity for existing systems. Backward and forward compatibility is also assured with Sauter. There are many examples of Sauter building management technology that were first installed in the early 1980s and have been maintained and developed over the years so that the systems still provide complete reliability and have been kept up to date as technology has advanced. These systems will continue to give reliable service and be supported and developed for many years to come. SAL has a long portfolio of successful projects here are just a few examples:
